The media event was conducted subsequent to their panel appearance in the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bay Front Hotel south of the main San Diego Convention Center.

Additionally, many of our contemporaries from the entertainment news media were also present for the festivities conducted by Syfy!

A press room is a wild, wonderful and and crazy place where courtesy of Syfy we were once again granted access to their Press Room at Comic-Con in San Diego. For those unfamiliar with the process, Press Rooms come in several varieties often with “Round Tables”, “Interview Line”, “Photo Line Up” and sometimes in the case of a well organized event all three.

In the case of Syfy Sanctuary Press at Comic-Con 2011 all three opportunities were afforded by the wonderful people at Syfy including Gary Morgenstein, Brenda Lowry, Erica Rubin, Bill Brennen and Carole Appleby!

Due to the expert handling of the Sanctuary guests by the Syfy staff and with support of Ms. Maureen Granados from Syfy Publicity New York and NBC Universal City, the press event came off without a hitch. All in all very it was an exciting time with Amanda Tapping and Robin Dunne as they charmed everyone present with details about the forthcoming season four of Sanctuary including the special musical episodes under the guidance of Andrew Lockington, Damian Kindler, Martin Wood and of course Ms. Tapping herself!

Naturally to our delight the general antics regarding Mr. Dunne’s proclivity for falling trousers were also examined, errr discussed! We hope yours to your delight as well!

During our time we even found out why Sanctuary series was created in the first place and the answer is shocking to say the least! Let me assure you however the creation of the Sanctuary was designed to house a creature made of the dreams of the worlds non abnormal female creatures everywhere as you will witness for yourself in the interviews below. We are convinced you will agree!

  1. Awesome write up. Amanda is such a sweetheart. And Robin is Robin, but I love ya hun. Thanks for giving myself and my team such an amazing show to write about.

Kenn, great job as usual. *applauds* 🙂

  2. Just a note letting you know that the following word does not mean what you think it means. (I come here occasionally, however the use of superlatives to describe anything (and everything) usually makes me nuts. As does the inappropriate use of words. Kudos on the lack of spelling errors though.

    contemporary
    <>
    noun
    4.
a person belonging to the same time or period with another or others.
    5.
a person of the same age as another.

    1. Hello Suse,

Thank you for taking your time to comment on the use of a single word out of hundreds of words in the news article.

A bit odd that you did not comment how funny Amanda Tapping and or Robin Dunne were in the interview? Or what a great television series Sanctuary is? Or perhaps how nice the images or video work was that they were featured in? Or perhaps what a great convention Comic-Con is and how nice Syfy was to arrange the press event?

Oh well, to each his (or her) own.

By the way you removed the first three ‘official’ definitions of the use of “the word” “contemporaries” (a noun) the plural of the word “contemporary” (an adjective).

If you take the time to check you will find the use of the word was correct within the context in the first place, referring to the media contemporaries (one that is contemporary with another) as described in the Miriam Webster dictionary or even the more formal Oxford English (UK) definition. http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/contemporary?region=us

      We appreciate you dropping by!

Please come again soon to one of our four news sites. We are confident that you will be able to find something to debate (semantically) with several of our staff who are screen writers, English teachers and journalists. You might even like the content of the news articles too! Cheers!

Best Regards and See You Soon!

PS: Let’s chat about punctuation next! I deliberately left a few out for sentence construction and deconstruction experiments! 😛
