Hey Alcatraz fans!\"Click<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This past weekend courtesy of Warner Brothers<\/a> at WonderCon<\/a> we got a chance to talk with Alcatraz stars Jorge Garcia<\/a> (Dr. Diego Soto) and Sarah Jones<\/a> (Rebecca Madsen) about their fantastic show and what we can expect as we head into the finale.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Rachelle: Jorge, can you tell us how you prepared for your role on Alacatraz?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jorge: Well, the great thing about playing an expert on a scripted show is the script tells you what to say. Because a lot of the stuff we make up about these guys are made up. You know, these aren\u2019t real prisoners, so really there\u2019s not a lot to study about them since they don\u2019t really exist.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle: That makes sense. Now Sarah, you play a homicide detective. How did you prepare for this role as a cop?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah: Yeah, I took up boxing. I learned how to shoot my gun. I spoke to a Lieutenant for hours on end: any questions I had, anything I wanted answers to. He was a former detective.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle: Did he tell you how to run in heels?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah: No, no he didn\u2019t. I had to learn that one on my own.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jorge: Not that he didn\u2019t know. He knew. He\u2019s just like \u201cthat one you\u2019ve got to learn on your own sister\u201d. She\u2019s good at that hold the gun and the flashlight at the same time thing.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle: That does look difficult.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jorge: That\u2019s my favorite part of her copping. And her kicking down doors!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah: I\u2019m good at kicking down doors too. I\u2019m really good at that, and picking locks.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle: You\u2019ve been practicing?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah: Yeah, I\u2019m pretty good at picking locks.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle: What\u2019s your favorite thing that you\u2019ve filmed so far? Action scenes?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jorge: Of the whole season?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah: Jumping off the roof was definitely, that was my favorite.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle: Did you do that?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah: Yeah<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jorge: When Doc suddenly got to drive that car was kind of cool.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle: What about your scenes with Nikki?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jorge: Those are great too. I have no complaints.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle: And where do we see this going?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jorge: I don\u2019t know yet. That\u2019s something that you have to ask them (indicates Steven and Bryan).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle: Now I know she asked you on a date\u2026<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jorge: Right, she did.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle: And you won\u2019t tease at all? Do you know what\u2019s going to happen?\u00a0 How much do they tell you ahead of time?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jorge: They don\u2019t tell me anything ahead of time.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle: Nothing?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jorge: As to what happens between Doc and Nikki\u2026will be addressed at a later date.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle (to Sarah): What about your love life?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah: Rebecca, she has no time for a love life. She\u2019s got bad guys to catch, and her grandfather to find.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle: It is a bit complex for her.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah: Yeah, she\u2019s a little busy at the moment. She doesn\u2019t really have time to go on dates at the moment.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jorge: Yeah, you might see her with Nikki before you see me with Nikki actually.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle: That would be an interesting twist.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Rachelle: So can you guys give us any teasers coming up towards the finale?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah: Well, there\u2019s a pretty iconic car chase that you\u2019ll see.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jorge: They showed that clip<\/a>. You finally get the reunion between Rebecca and her grandfather, face to face.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah: Yes, that happens.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle: And does she call him grandpap?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jorge: She says, \u201cPopa, you owe me a lot of Christmas presents\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah: It should be a good showdown and a good little cliffhanger at the end. I think people will be pleased with the last couple of episodes for sure.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle: Well we\u2019re really excited to see it. Thanks you guys for talking to us.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
